Code Layout in Win98

I've just installed Win98. Unfortunatelly a lot of my folders have names in Greek alphabet and now I cannot see their names. Does anyone know what to do?
I've heard that I have to format my hard -disk again and apply a custom installation of Win98. I would like to avoid that!
