I use win 7. Home and the iE that came with it and something changed.

Now when I go on Google.com all the Tabs that were on the Top of Googles pag are on the Left hand side.

And if I move my mouse over to any of the Tabs a BIG Black box with the same Tabs opens.

But if I use my Laptop and it has win 7. Home as well and I go to Google.com it comes up as it useto.

With the Tabs at the top of Googles page.

What is going on  and when I say Googles Tabs I meen the ones that say Image  Video  and so on.

I would like to  have googles Tabs show up at the top like they do on my Laptop??

Ever heard the saying "A picture is worth a thousand words"?  If you could post screen prints of the two different Google layouts you mentioned, that would be *very* helpful.

Sorry my Screen Print Key does not work but I can tell you more.

On my Laptop when I go to google the Big Google words are in the center of the screen.
And the Google Tabs that say   Images   Video and so on are across the top of googles page in the Black Box going left to right.

Now when I go on google on my Desktop I see the Big google words in the center of the screen but all of googles Tabs  like images  video an so on are on the Left hand side going top to bottum.
And the Black Box at the top of the page that did have the google Tabs is not there at all.

      What is doing this?

Do all other websites display correctly?  Have you tried deleting all browser history?  Do you have any other browser installed?

I fear it simply means you are looking at 2 different versions of IE...
