blue screen even with fresh reinstall
    « on: February 13, 2012, 09:21:13 PM »
    Ok,

have a PC with win xp pro. Keep getting blue screen after boot up. Reboot and it and usually 2nd or 3rd time will load windows. So I thought well why not reinstall with Win 7 instead of XP. Have it on my PC so thought this would resolve my problem. Because cause of corrupt files. But the dam blue screen is back. Same problem as before. Could it be because there is not enough RAM and it is causing me problems? Here the MOBO ASUS P4S8X-MX with 2 gig of RAM. Sorry I don't have the PC in front of me to say what CPU is in it.  :-\

    Download BlueScreenView:
    http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe to run the program.
when scanning is done, go to EDIT - Select All
Go to FILE - SAVE Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all of the content, and paste it into your next reply
