and if you use the tracert command you can see where the connection fails.  If you ping from the client to the server there can only be 4 places it can fail......

I tried running the command but, it came back as like unknow parmeters.  I gave it the name of the Server - Client an vice versa

I worked on this a little more here this moring.  I checked both of the routers, reset them with the settings I had.  I had been able to do a tracert an it has issues at 6.  My laptop, is able to see the Server an I am able too login.

I checked both of the routers, reset them with the settings I had.

Now there are 2 routers ??  Why is this the first time you are telling us this ?? Why have you reset them and what settings did you previously have ?  If you are changing and/or reseting things that i am helping you to troubleshoot, how am i supposed know what is actually going on ??

I had been able to do a tracert an it has issues at 6.
This would help if you had explained the actual topology. You've told me "The people that I want to connect to the Server are connected via a Router". You have NOT mentioned 2 routers........  ::)
Being as you have neglected to tell me this important information, even though i've asked for it, then i can not tell you what 'issues at 6' means.  ???

My laptop, is able to see the Server an I am able too login.

      Login to what?

I will not be able to help if all you throw me is crumbs!
      11 cheers for binary !

Cause, the wireless doesnt matter.  The clients are on the Linksys wired.  I reset them too make sure since, I dont leave them on all the time.  The settings are still all the same though.

It just runs to a swith/hub - Router

and now there's a wireless as well

The configurations should be saved in NVRAM, no need to 'reset' anything.

        and now there's a switch/hub  ???

So, i will ask for the LAST time, what the actual physical topology is. Without it you're on your own.........

As I said the Wireless doesnt matter.  I just downed DHCP on it an used a patch cable to connect it to the wired router.  This never caused, issues before.  :o  It seems like my laptop is the only unit able too see it even if it is wireless.

Yeah, Just to make sure that there were no IP conflicts though.

I provided it >< the primary thing is that goes from the server to a long patch cable to the router to the clients

if you want me too map it again

          Server - Switch/Hub - Router - Clients

Map it again...'cause so far including your last Post we still have no idea of the layout so that we can advise with intelligent suggestions.

          Agreed

As I said the Wireless doesnt matter.

Why doesn't it? How is anybody supposed to know at which point the connection fails if we do not know ALL the connections? If you supplied the information that was asked for 17 posts ago, we might be able to help.............

          *facepalm*

We're really struggling here to understand your network topology.  Do you understand it?  Can you maybe draw a picture in Visio/Dia or something?
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.

I do have the switch/hub connected to the routers uplink port.  I cant see it wireless know for some reason, dont know how it did before ether.  The fact that Im ignoreing the wireless is cause, I only have two units that would be able to use it any how.  That an I only use it too remote into the wired machines on the Router.
