      I use malwarebytes, spybot, avira, iobot, and winpatrol. i can assure all of that is updated and working.

      How to reset Google Chrome

      NOTE: You may loose all program settings, Bookmarks etc after deleting User Data.

        Have you tried clearing the cache...cookies, etc?

        This is not an uninstall/reinstall procedure...

            Did you install any extension around the time this happened.

            Might need to start removing them to eliminate that possible scenario.
