user tracking via a single user account - sharepoint 2010
« on: November 01, 2012, 05:41:12 AM »
I work for a construction company where we use SharePoint 2010 as the basis for our document management.  We give named user accounts to subcontractors, owner reps, etc.  What we want to do is create a subsite to house documents for bidders.  We want to create 1 generic username in active directory for these users but have some way to track each specific person each time they visit the site.  Is there some way to achieve this?  Maybe a form that requires users to sign in with their name and company name and date every time they visit the site? Does anyone have any ideas?
