second chance for windows 98se

 good afternoon

i was wondering, is it possible to download a free verion of second chance for windows 98se as i have no recovery disk,even if i had i still can't use it because my floppy disk drive died on me after i installed a  liteon cd-rewriter.

You may be able to get the floppy drive to work.

Is the floppy drive data cable connected firmly to both the drive and the motherboard?  Is the power connector from the power supply connected firmly to the drive?  Does the light on the floppy drive stay lit even though there is no diskette in the drive?
