    my p.c seemed to be running fine suddenly went dead  , but  hardisk , power led light are all  working .that means power gets to the mother board but  theirs no video
  VGA, MEMORY , AND CPU  all worked on another board
 what then is the problem

Need more info on the computer specs. Did the computer post ok. Did you make any changes to your computer just before it went dead. have you reseated the Graphics card and memory back ok. If yes to the above try resetting your bios. If still no joy after this disconnect everything from the back of the computer except monitor also disconnect all internal drives including hard drive. Now switch computer back on and tell me do you see any error messages on screen come up, or is the screen still dead.
