Photoshop CS5 "Float all in windows"
    « on: August 08, 2012, 12:11:22 AM »
To "Float all in windows" using Photoshop CS5, I go to : Edit > Preferences > and under the wording "Panels & Documents" I uncheck "Open documents as Tabs" and check "Enable Floating Document Window Docking".

So far so good. But when I open the first thumbnail of my choice, I find I have to close
the screen (window?) to be able to go again to My Pictures folder to open the second
    thumbnail.

Usually, I then hit "Float all in windows" and the two images pop up one completely covering the other.  This is not happening now and I am left with only one image as the second image on which the first one is superimposed will not pop up.

    What am I doing wrong?

Many thanks---and I hope that this time I am putting my question in the right place on the forum.
