start up problem
« on: August 20, 2004, 09:12:28 AM »
:'(  I have a problem with start up.  Scenrio: Acceer computer running windows 98.  I have two hard drives.  My homepage got hijacked two days ago.  Microsoft help informed me to run live updates of my Spybot,  Adaware and Virus programs.  I ran Spybot after update, it found 45 problems and repaired 42.  For some reason I had to shut down the computer and now it will not come back up.  It shows the upper half containing the ram and so forth with the blue background and under that is the black back ground with the following: Invalid System Disk   Replace the disk and the press any key.  There is no disk in my trays or floppy.  It will not go any further than this.  Help
