Help with updating to iOS 6 please!
    « on: November 08, 2012, 06:56:13 AM »
    Dear Experts,

I am trying my very best to update my iPod Touch 4th Gen to iOS 6 but when I tried to download it through iTunes, I got a network error. So I downloaded an IPSW file and tried to update using that but Apple says "iPod "blahblah" could not be updated error 3149. My iPod is NOT jailbroken. Please help my iPod Touch is really outdated still using 4.3.5 not able to download latest apps.

    Hi XtrGamer,

This is an easy one. Go into settings on the iPod`s home screen, General>Software Update, and Update from there. Note that it will update to 6.1.1, not 6.0. 6.1.1 is better though, as there is bug fixes & stuff.

    Hope this works,
