Windows 7 update problem Windows Service Pack 1

Every time I try to install Windows Service Pack 1 for 64 based System I get the following error   ERROR_NOT_FOUND(0x80070490)I've tried everything on the Microsoft site to fix this but it won't fix :( Any suggestion???

DLoad and install SP2...
It includes everything in SP1.

Is this an "Ahem" version of XP ? ?
If so you may be outta luck.

    Every month my windows 7 home basic is upgraded, but now it is not being updated as usual & every time an error message is showing, saying FAILED TO CONFIGURE WINDOWS, REVERTING CHANGES. What should i do? Any suggestions ? :'(

    Through windows updates or the manual download? If both fail try the steps listed at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/958044.
