Windows 7 update problem Windows Service Pack 1

Every time I try to install Windows Service Pack 1 for 64 based System I get the following error   ERROR_NOT_FOUND(0x80070490)I've tried everything on the Microsoft site to fix this but it won't fix Any suggestion???

DLoad and install SP2...
It includes everything in SP1.

Is this an "Ahem" version of XP ? ?
If so you may be outta luck.

Every month my windows 7 home basic is upgraded, but now it is not being updated as usual & every time an error message is showing, saying FAILED TO CONFIGURE WINDOWS, REVERTING CHANGES. What should i do? Any suggestions ?

Through windows updates or the manual download? If both fail try the steps listed at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/958044.
