How to remove color background from a copy
    « on: January 05, 2013, 05:10:42 AM »
     >:(I copied a beautiful knitting pattern from a web site but it has a color background and I would like to print it without the background to save on my ink.  Is this possible?  I forgot to mention that I use Windows XP, Microsoft 2000.

You do not say what program you are using to view this Word document. In Microsoft Word 2003 I did this:  View menu - Normal, Edit menu - Select All, Format menu - Borders and Shading, Shading tab, choose No Fill, click OK.

I see you actually did say what Word version you were using, I didn't see it the first time.
