New Tabs Open to Unwanted Search Engine
« on: March 27, 2013, 05:55:26 AM »
First off we are dealing with Firefox 19.0.2 (Jesus it was v.15 last time I looked)

One day whilst not paying attention I downloaded what seemed to be a legitimate (hate that word) video codec from Mozilla, only it wasn't. Anyway I removed all the add-ons that the download added but I'm still stuck with the problem of every time I open a blank new tab I get delta-search.com. (Warning I know nothing about the website and have never used it, it could be malicious)

Anyway how do I get rid of it? Besides reinstalling Firefox, which isn't a problem it's just annoying.

Sorry If anything doesn't make sense btw spent ~40hrs working yesterday and I'm not fully compos mentis.

Thank you, I didn't realise that it also contained any Windows modifications.
