no Drivers for my model Toshiba?

Hello CH,

I currently own a Toshiba satellite L645D-020 (PSKQC-020007) And I decided to give windows 8 a try. its currently installing but obviously i need to install drivers after i get in. now I have looked on Toshibas web site and cannot find for the life of me the model Toshiba? l

Thats the page. i go into Laptops>Satellite> L series and try to find L645D and it doesn't exist!? WHAT THE HECK toshiba? I tried google aswell and all i could find is one page, that is just a listing of my hardware.. not helpful. everything else is SSD drives?

Would the drivers be on the recovery DVDs? or do i have to call Toshiba and yell a bit? I got driver support on my 2003 Toshiba last year and i cant get drivers for a 2 year old laptop?

Are you sure you double-checked with that Model # ? ?
Unfortunately it's up to the manuf. whether or not they choose to write drivers for any OS...
This happened on tons of budget priced Vista laptops...you couldn't install XP nor Win7 on them...Vista only.
If this is the case here with this laptop you could try the Win7 drivers which may or may not work for Win8 so no guarantees...

ok, maybe i didnt make this clear. I cant find ANY drivers. not win 7, which is what this computer was made for. Not 8 nothing. A driver page for this machine does not exist. At least that i can find.

thats weird. no where it says its a S4025. but the phots match other then mines blue not purple. but my Ram is 4gb standard with 640gb drive and this one is 3gb ram and 250gb hard drive. everything else is the same. Thanks ill use these drivers then. thanks again

The site stated the full Model # is on the bottom of the PC.

hmm thats odd. Here ill post a pic, this is what the bottom of mine says.. other then the L645D i got a different number. unless that part has been rubbed off. i did buy this laptop second hand. when i got it the windows product key and the second sticker had rubbed off for the laptop lost its legs. see for yourself.

When you enter the l645d in the box theres a drop down list with the secondary part #'s...about 12 of them...
