my computer config:Intel core i5-2450M CPU.2,50 GHz,.8GB RAM,64 bit OS,Windows 7 Home Basic

I had installed Windows server 2008 on different partition and trying to Install Exchange Server 2010 64 Bit but it errors out
"This installation package is not supported by this processor type"

Please help me ASAP

Ran into a similar issue years ago with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET Professional 2002 on a Celeron 733Mhz. I figured since it stated it would run on a Pentium II 450Mhz that a Celeron 733Mhz would work, but I got the same error message and Microsoft Support told me to get a Pentium Class Processor system to run it on, so $600 later I installed it on a Pentium 4 2Ghz without issues.

In your situation the only hit I find online for this processor incompatibility is with people trying to run Exchange Server 2010 in a virtual environment, although there are lots of complaints of i5 having issues with Server 2008 OS.

Unless I'm misinterpreting Microsoft's specs, you need a Xeon processor to run Exchange (seems strange though). Alternatively, you could run it in Hyper-V and tell it that it has a Xeon.
