soybean, yes that's right. The "Gooooooogle" is on one computer and then on another it is an ongoing list of pages when you scan down.
And on the second part yes also.... I get on ((Hmmm I just found out that that laptop has win 7) , Ah, someone changed the drive. That's not my original drive, this one is only an 80 Gb)).
I agree with patio that there would be too many variables.
That's why I was confused. I bought three laptops for the business, they go out, they come back. Mine of course stays with me always. They were all the same/(ish), as in had vista, FF and so on & regularly get back to me for checking for infections, backups and other details. As Admin I get to set it the way I like it, sometimes they add different extensions, but thats OK. I can deal with a bit of individuality.
I have never seen someone knock off a hard drive. Hahahaha. (Too easy to find out who that was.)
I like a bit of consistency in things like this so I can go from one computer to the next and use the exact same (or close to it) profile.
Calum has it. Google loads the pages in an almost endless list.
Interesting Calum, that you dont see that any more and here am I asking about exactly that??? I wonder if Windows has something to do with that?
As for the second part. Thank you for your instructions for newtab.
Mine has a value of, about:blank.
Is there a way to edit it or is that done in FF somewhere?
Thanks ImnoGuru.
