Glad to help if we can. Have you already tried another forum?

You can connect to the Internet if you have a Wi-Fi connection in your house. However, connection from your iPad2 to a PC is another thing.

I suggest your read a similar post from another forum.

If that does not help, come back here and tell use how fare you got.

Does your modem have a wireless router (WiFi)?  Won't work without one.

Dear Computer Commando, Thank you very much for ur reply.

I have a 'Motorola' Modem, and a 'Pronet' Router, which I am using with my 'You Broadband 'Net Connection. When I go out of town, will I be able to use my TATA PHOTON+ DATA CARD to connect to my iPad to get an Internet Connection to the iPad2 ?

I was directed to "iPad Forum", but there I could not find help to solve my problem-- to get 'Net Connection to ipad2 with the help of TATA PHOTON+ .  Will you please help me ?

Does a ROUTER exist which has a USB  PORT wherein this PHOTON+ data card may be fixed ?
Eagerly awaiting your help, and thanking you, Sincerely, Dr.Joshi.

1.  Depends how far is "out of town".  TATA is your ISP, it will only work on their network (locations in India).

2.  iPAD's have built-in wifi & can be used on any free wifi hotspot, anywhere; i.e., your hotel.
3.  No.  I don't think you understand the difference between wifi & 4G (or 3G).

I don't have an iPAD.  All models have wifi, some also have 4G, your PHOTON+ takes the place of 4G.

Are you saying the card only works on their service ? ?
What about Free wi-fi locations ? ?

When will some body help me ?  I am frequently required to go out of town where there is no BROADBAND   CABLE connection available . Of course I go to places where the TATA  NETWORK  exists . My iPAD2  does not have an  INPUT  USB  PORT   to which I could have fixed my PHOTON+  DATA CARD DONGLE to get NET CONNECTION .  IN THIS SITUATION  how can I get "Net Connection" to my iPAD2  ?  Will somebody take up on his mind to help me out of this difficult situation ?
I already have two things with me namely 1) Tata PHOTON+  DONGLE  ( DATA CARD),  and  2) PRONET  ROUTER    Do i need something extra ?
PLEASE GUIDE ME SOON . THANKS .----- DR.BHAIYYA

Try iPAD 2 Camera Connection Kit.  Small chance of working.

The demanding attitude for help won't get a lot of mileage here also...
Just a heads up.
