Ive been banned from computer hope chat

i was banned from computer hope chat today. I am an active participant in the chat and have helped lots. BUt i made the mistake of leaving it open and allowing a "friend" of mine access to the chat. After a coulple seconds of swearing by him, i was banned. I managed to get him off but i was to late.

Please unban me

Take it. It's good. You breached the rules, whether deliberately or not, and you received the consequences.

I disagree. It is not good advice, it is curt and abrasive and that's not how we treat posters on this forum. Geek, if you have nothing positive to contribute try to restrain yourself.

Pentium, as Salmon Trout pointed out in his post above, you - or someone on your computer - broke the rules of chat. Your post here will be read by someone on the chat staff and they will likely respond. Otherwise, the ban will be lifted at some point in the future. Please note that although chat and the forum are both owned and operated by the same individual, there is no direct connection between the two - they run independently of one another.

The old "It wasn't me, it was a friend using my PC" is nothing more than a forced attempt at plausible deniability.

I've seen PM logs and logs that contain "Pentium's" messages and it's a surprise he wasn't banned sooner.

Can you post those logs, because i don't think i have done anything to get me banned.

I wasn't even logged in when he started swearing, i was marked as a guest, i just want my ip unbanned.
