    More detail is required. Is this a branded machine or assembled machine? If it is branded machine please give make and model. If its an assembled machine, please give motherboard make and model.

        1. Click the Windows "Start" button. Right-click "Computer" and choose "Properties."

        2. Click "Device Manager" on the left side of the window. Click the arrow next to "Universal Serial Bus controllers."

        3. Look for the word "Enhanced" in the USB port description. If you see "Enhanced," the USB port is 2.0; if you don't see it, the port is version 1.0 or 1.1. If you see an entry labelled "xHCI" or "Extensible Host Controller Interface," the USB port is version 3.0. The port might also be clearly labelled "USB 3.0."

        Next option;

        Copy some files from your flash drive to your computer. Repeat it by each 6 ports that you have. Which one copying your files faster is USB 2 )

        If you see "Enhanced," the USB port is 2.0

        They have already said in there first post that they see 'Enhanced' in device manager.

        By exact model number of the machine, we may be able to tell you which are 2.0 ports.

          We don't know what the "USB 2.0 device" is. Pretty fundamental piece of missing info. I see ad2066 presumed it was a flash device. If, however, it is a hard drive, then the message could be caused if the port is being overloaded. If it is a port-powered (only) hard drive, then possibly using a powered USB 2.0 hub would remove the warning. Other possibilities include a damaged or faulty external device or cable.

            oh i see, the device is a 3g data card of a local company and if all the rear ports are 2.0 than maybe my data card is faulty.

            Thanks guys.

            Possibly it is drawing too much power, or it may be faulty. Are you getting the expected 3G speed? USB 1.0 is good for up to 1.5 mbps and USB 1.1 up to 12 mbps. Why won't you tell us the maker and model?

              How much are you paying for? Are you in a good signal area?

              Mts has almost lost the market in most parts of India due to there poor service. Both, for speed issues and customer care service. Btw, i doubt if that device comes with any warranty if its faulty.

              1.5 mbps is not necessarily all that bad for a cheap 3G dongle on a cheap plan in an area with an indifferent signal. The minimum speed in the basic 3G spec is 200 kbits/sec. I looked on an online map showing 3G speeds reported by an iPhone app in my area of Bristol, UK, and I see that different providers were reported between 0.8 and 3.5 mbps.

              You mean you are getting download speed of 1.5mb/sec?? :o  :o or your net plan is 1.5mbps??  Both are different things actually.
