The Sims(1): Need help, got conned

     :'(
Anyway, I installed like normal, I think. When I went to play, the first thing that came up was robots and gods knows what else.
The game was The Sims but had been modded an unbelievable amount. None of the OG furniture was their nor the outfits.

Is there a way to get the game back to "factory settings"?

Uninstall the current game and buy an "Original" copy to install and play.

      1. What is the FULL TITLE of the version you purchased. For example, I have "The Sims: Complete Collection".
      2. Where did you buy it from
      3. Your description of the problem is vague. Either way, if for some reason it came "modded" (which they don't, unless you downloaded it illegally in which case your aversion to spending monies on the product in many ways is the cause of the problem to begin with) there is no way to "unmod" it.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
