FACEBOOK Privacy question regarding profile picture
    « on: January 02, 2014, 08:36:01 AM »
Hi there, ive almost given up on this as every google/youtube search on the issue is coming up with solutions that simply are not working on my account.

Basically i dont want my facebook profile picture showing to public or anyone else other than friends or friends of friends. How do i do this??

Ive gone into the profile picture & set it to friends, but when i check out what my timeline looks like to public its still showing. I dont know what else to do.

Face it, anything you post on a social networking site is essentially available to the world. If you don't want it seen by the general public, don't post it.

I am aware of issues surrounding facebook privacy. I have already set up my privacy controls without too much problems.

I just wanted to know if there was a way to stop your profile picture appearing on a public facebook name search done by someone not a facebook friend?
