Need Help getting big lag spikes on wireless
    « on: January 15, 2014, 05:05:58 PM »
So I am getting big lag spikes on my online games on both my laptop and desktop from 30-40 ping all the way to 3000 ping usually it just goes to about 300 but sometimes way worse, it's not very consistent and it is very random but it almost always happens.

I heard that it could be that I need to change my wireless modems channel and receivers to but I don't know how to do that. Any help would be really appreciated thank you.

Have you tried connecting to your modem via cable?  I think that would be a troubleshooting step; it could provide some evidence of whether the problem is your wireless connection to your modem or an issue going out beyond your modem.  It might be an issue you about which need to contact your ISP.

Yea i have i think it is my wireless card becasue the lag and ping spikes only happen on this computer with this wireless card. Tried changing the channels but still just happens randomly and all the time nothing like this happens on my notebook on cell phone with the wifi connection.
