    Net Framework 3.5 Troubleshooting help
    « on: January 12, 2014, 07:38:49 AM »
    Hello,

I have a problem with a specific website on my laptop computer.  I have tried Windows Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome browsers on this computer and none work on this particular website.  I can access that website on multiple other computers.  I contacted the website developer and based on the issues I am having he suggested that there might be an issue with Net FrameWork 3.5 on my laptop.  I have tried a number of different "repairs", based on info I found on the web.  In the end I not quite sure what to make of all the results I got from the things I did other than that I am still suspicious that there is something wrong with the Net Framework 3.5 on this computer.

So I'm asking for help on how to go about verifying if Net Framework 3.5 is good on my computer and how to repair it if it is not.

Not sure where to start with giving any relevant info.  My laptop is running Windows 7 Home Premium service pack 1 and it is a 64 bit.

Let me know what other info is helpful.

    Thanks,

    Tim

The website is fightingflattops.com  it is a "browser game" site.  I can access the main page Ok.  I run into the problems when I try to login from the main web page.  For example attached is what I get using Internet Explorer (I have tried switching compatibility settings with different results).

The message I get when clicking on Current Games from the start page using Windows Explorer version 11 and Windows 7 service pack 1 and Fightingflattops.com added to the compatibility view settings is:

The XML page can not be dislayed

Cannot view XML input using XMS style sheet.  Please correct the error and then click the refresh button, or try again later.

      Access is denied

When I remove the web site from the compatibility view settings, I get the following after clicking on Current Games (I replaced my email address with XXXXXXXXXX):

      listgames    Game List      false   Mozilla   2014   Old   o7NcSYOa1EmWqw8pbGgjLKtdFXHPvIR0053nD2T sMr   public   20140105075950   20140105075950   20140105075950   20140105075950   20140105075950   20140105075950   20140105075950      fightingflattops.com   /index.php   /      30   5   5      96 1521   p51e4505b5e8183.2990594 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX  July 15, 2013   January 9, 2014   Yes   December 30, 2014   Enhanced      No   5   1,2   TABSM   Terrain   Yes   Plain   Nautical Miles   No                                                                                     6  0517679639, 1555716474, 0804118655, 0870210238, B000KZBU36, 1557095574, 1557504881
