Problem in installing Websphere

Hi,

Whenever im trying to install websphere v6.0 base on my machine by clicking on the install.exe file, im getting the following error message .......

" A Suitable JVM could not be found .Please run the program again using the option -is:javahome
<JAVA HOME DIR>"

why this is happening and can anyone suggest me how to rectify this and install websphere successfully ... im using jdk5.0 ....

A JAVA problem it seems to me... Do you have th latest version of the JAVA Virtual Machine?

yes i have Java Runtime Environment version 5.0.....

still im getting the problem.....

any solution and help 'flame'.......

how can we know which version of JVM (Java Virutal machine) is installed on my machine and which version should i install ......need help pls
