high cpu, disk, memory usage on windows 8
    « on: February 15, 2014, 09:27:46 AM »
so I just bought a new computer.

and i noticed that its quite slow, even when just watching a stream on medium quality.
and I think my specs should be good enough to not have problems with streaming and opening normal programs.
    my specs are:

AMD E2-2000 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics(2 CPUs) 1,8 Ghz

    4 Gb ram

graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 7340M

all drivers updated with drivertuner 3.5

    any help is appriciated :)

You can have the fastest computer ever built but if your ISP is slow there's not much you can do about it.Let's check the speed.

Please download MiniToolBox to Desktop and run it.

    Checkmark the following boxes:

      • Flush DNS
      • Report IE Proxy Settings
      • Reset IE Proxy Settings
      • List content of Hosts
      • List IP Configuration
      • Lst Last 10 Event Viewer Errors
      • List Users, Partitions and Memory Size
      • [/b]
Click Go and copy/paste the log (Result.txt) into your next post.

So, you feel that it's too slow not only on the Internet but also when just using programs on it.  Is that right?  Can you mention some specifics?  When starting your computer, how long does it take to get to the Windows Login screen?  Please give one or more examples of slow program launching.

Did you notice a difference after using drivertuner 3.5?  What make and model is your computer?  Did you consider checking the manufacturer's website for updated drivers, instead of using drivertuner 3.5?

DriverTuner is probably the issue here...just sayin.
