How far are you from the Wi-Fi transmitter?
When we say 'Wi-Fi' we mean a kind of digital microwave that
can have a coverage of 100  to 500 meters, more or less.
    A reference:

But cell phones, as you know, cover a much larger area. In some suburban or rural areas people use a 3g or 4g cell phone to get  internet reception.
Of course, you have to pay for it.
In some cities there are areas where Wi-Fi is free, but mostly the inner city only.
In California there are many such places. See this:

For long range reception, you have to buy or build an outdoor antenna.

You must have a clear view of the target to get long range with the antenna.

can u give me the exact video how to create the antenna ?
i don't have the exact location from the wifi location either, i just know that i get 2 bar, because usually i connect it from the mall and get very decent speed with my account. but at my relatives location it only get 2 bar and now i use phone tethering to connect, but extremely slow enough to do anything, i just want to know how to insert the antenna
