    « on: April 20, 2014, 01:47:53 PM »
    Hello everyone,
I'm not sure if this problem goes to this sub-forum, I tried to seach for solution in the forum, but I can't find it.
So my problem is that some of the times (it happens more and more often) when  I try to turn on my laptop, its screen imediately turns to black, white and gray horizontal stripes and there is a continuos beep. I tried to reinstal my windows, but that didn't help..
My laptop is DELL Vostro 3560
    Can someone help me?
    Thanks!

Probably the graphics adapter is going bad.  Is this what you have:  AMD Radeon HD 7670M

Windows 7-64 bit or something else?
Continuous beep usually means a hardware problem of some kind, but not always.
If you tilt the display back & forth, does the problem clear up?
Reinstall the driver for Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000.  Get it from Dell Support.

        I have windows 7-32 bit.
I haven't tried that tilting the display thing, but I'll do that, if the problem continuos.
For now, I reinstaled the Intel driver, I'll see if problem will disapear, thanks for your help:)

I would first re-seat RAM. If you have to modules / memory sticks, remove one and try with another. If you have one, you can borrow another one from a friend or ask in a nearest local computer store.
Alternatively, you can use memtest, burn it in a USB drive, make it bootable and boot your laptop using the created usb bootable drive. Let it run till it display "100% Pass complete" at the bottom of the screen. If any errors come up, they will be shown on the screen in red color.
If no errors are displayed, then I would move further to checking of the display cable (which connects screen and motherboard).  This problem can also be of the LCD/LED screen going bad.
If all the above tests are good, then as computer_commando said, can be a graphics adapter/chip problem.
