    computer does not go to sleep 30 % of time

    I realized that my computer does not go to sleep or display does not power down 30% of time . I did a Powercfg -energy in the cmd and it came up with this check file attatched report. how can i fix this issue

    According to that report it appears to be the USB device.

      Do you have a USB device plugged in somewhere? If so, try removing it.

        well i have the mouse, printer, keyboard and touch screen displey using usb. so which one should i remove.

        Has the computer always done this? Could you check in the Device Manager to see if there are any yellow icons?
        According to this link it appears to be a problem MS is trying to fix.

          As Patio mentioned it's probably your touch screen. Can you try a regular monitor?

            I'd stop using sleep mode personally...
            Win power saving methods ahve never been good IMHO.

                  if the computer is on all day long without it going to sleep and i turn the computer off at night would that cause the computer any harm.

                  No, but you should be able to configure your harddrive to stop spinning reducing the wear and tear on it.

                    i found another idea the hid compliant touch screen driver on device managers properties power management tab has a grayed out section saying allow the computer to turn this device to save power check image posted. how to fix this

                    If it's greyed out then either Windows or the device doesnt support it ...
