      You can download it from microsoft only unless you have a pirated copy of xp, if not the only other way is cd-rom

      Why suggest NOT using SP2 ? ?
      It is a major OS update, not just a security patch...

      dont use Sp2

      I dont because it slowed my connection speed down.

      Its more trouble than its worth i ditched it months back and I'm stall alright.

        If you want to apply SP2 it is better to slipstream the service pack with your XP CD, burn a new XP SP2 CD,  and do a clean install.
