Mystery Files
« on: June 22, 2014, 06:49:30 PM »
On My C Drive where my Program Files, Driver, Users Windows folders are located, I found the attached files that have arrived fairly recently and I have no idea what they are or what they do.  They are unlike any file I've seen before.  Most of them have recent dates.  Does anyone out there recognize what they are?  I've tried putting one of them through the Search Engine, however, I get nothing back.  Thanks

They relate to one or more Windows Updates. You can leave them alone or delete them, it's up to you.

Thank you.  I've been having a lot of problems with my computer freezing up on me constantly and when I saw these I hadn't a clue as to what they were and if they could be related to the freezing up problem.

They aren't. If you haven't started a thread about your problems feel free to do so.

Those files..and gettting rid of them is not the source of your issue,,,
