Change Youtube video speed permanently ?

Hello,

I have a question but I am not sure if this is the right forum.

I usually watch a lot of Youtube videos and most of these are educational videos/lectures. I usually find the regular speed slow and watch the videos at 1.5X speed which helps me learn more efficiently.

However, the only thing that I have to do everytime is that for every video, I need to go and change the speed setting manually to 1.5X.

Is there any way to do the same automatically  for every video I watch ? Any plugins etc. for this ?

Curious as to how you are able to change the playback speed through youtube flash? I see no options for changing the speed when right-clicking and looking at options.

The only way to change the speed that I know of is if you played the downloaded video through another player such as VLC.
