Sorry about your problem, but DO NOT use this forum for your personal rants. Digital River is among the most reliable and respected global commerce companies in the world.

I've bought lots of software through Digital River and am curious as to what you exactly downloaded for an application that caused you so much trouble?

For what  it's worth... I posted some bad news about Digital River today.. However, if they work out a new deal with Microsoft, the company can get back on track.

Digital river is a respected company, I trust them a lot more than any other dodgy sources that you are using.  The download probably failed due to your connection.  "Thier downloads are out of date?" - Err... Surely Microsoft's official distribution partner gets the newest versions of everything...

It is not Digital River's fault that you spent time reinstalling your machine, you misdiagnosed the issue and decided to do that, surely the proper course of action would have been to test the download on a different computer and/or connection.
