    POPUP ERROR MESSAGE
    « on: February 03, 2015, 02:22:48 PM »
I am experiencing a minor irritation with my Windows 8.1 Tablet.  I keep getting a window popping up to say that Windows cannot find the file 'C:Program'.  It usually happens just after I have started the computer up.  I have done nothing to ask the computer to find the file.  It is a simple matter to close the window but it is an irritant I would rather be without.  Can anyone advise me how to stop it, please?

Take a look at your 'startup' programs and see if there is a program in there that you don't either need or want. Choose to disable any programs you don't need on startup. Never worked with an 8.1 tablet before but if you can get up task manager it should have a tab for 'start up programs'.

Seems like there is a program set to run on start that has an error.
