Good morning everyone.
I have a question I hope you can answer
I Sent my friend a document from my computer which is Widows xp and he is trying to open it on his computer which he said is Windows 2000
He said he cant open the document
Is there a reason for this?
Has the software for word changed from that time period??
Im confused  actually my friend is confusing me lol
Please help if you can  
All I know is he said its a word doc and is computer is
Windows 2000 .  Thanks for your help in advance

They should both be able to see it regardless of which ver. of Windows...
Tell him to try it in WordPad instead of NotePad.

The difference is in the program displaying the info, not the version of Windows.
