Receive win updates as Power User in Win2000
« on: November 08, 2005, 07:31:16 AM »
Hi there, tell me guys....... How can I receive and install windows updates when logged in as a Power User? I am running Win 2000 Pro. By default updates are only for Admin but how can the admin give this permission to a Power User??

Thanks

Virgin:

That depends on whether your computer is connected to a peer-to-peer network with a workgroup or client-server domain.  If you connect via a domain, the network administrator has to grant that permission to your account on the domain server.

Call her and ask.
