    Stuck in 'repairing disk errors'
    « on: March 16, 2015, 07:58:29 AM »
My Windows 8 laptop is stuck in 'repairing disk errors. This might take over an hour to complete'
After leaving it for over 20 hours there still hasn't been any improvement!
    Nothing has happened to it.

I have tried pressing f12 and looking through the options there, but it wouldn't allow me to system restore or refresh.

    help!

I'm actually having the same issue with my laptop, it's been like this for like 8 hours now. I'm scared to manually turn it off in case anything goes wrong. Does anybody have a suggestion?

No easy solution. Anytime windows takes over twenty minutes to finish an operation, it may be a case of error that cannot be resolved. Turning off the computer is the only way out.
