    password key acceptance
    « on: March 22, 2015, 04:08:34 PM »
I have a new ISP and one of my laptops will not accept the password key.  My other 2 computers are connecting without issue.  The laptop connected without fail to the previous ISP.  I am able to input the characters, then hit "ok", then restart, but the computer will put the old key back in.  How do I get the new password key to "stick"?  I'm running XP on the laptop in question.  Thanks.

As a diagnostic aid, try  this:
Create another user with administrator level. Log in to the new user.
    Do the Network Wizard again.
Now still on the on the new user,  Sign in to your ISP.
    Does it work?  :)
