Cannot scan image at 1200 DPI
    « on: April 09, 2015, 07:09:27 PM »
    Hi everyone,

I just hooked up my Mustek A31200S to my PC (Windows 8.1 64 bit) and I cannot seem to find a way to scan higher than 600 dpi. I make comics and I need my images to be crisp. How could I increase this? Here is a screen shot of the software being used.

    Welcome.
Did you use the scanner before on another system?
The Mustek A31200S is advertised as a 120o dpi  optical scanner. The manual should indicate how to scan at 1200.

Otherwise, have you tried using other r programs to scan? Windows 8.1 has built-in scanning for compliant hardware. So you should be able t o use it in Windows 8.1
