    Ive got a laptop with the Win7OS and ive got the Win icon with the option Get Win 10 and ive reserverved it for installing July 29th.
    Ive also got a desktop running Win 8.1 but ive not got the icon notification  to get Win 10 the windows icon 's not in the system tray.
    Both these OS are original copies does any one know the reason for this .

    Chances are the Win8 PC is behind on updates...

    The 'Get Windows 10' app was installed as part of the recommended Windows update KB3035583.

    If you don’t see the 'Get Windows 10' icon in your notification area and want to reserve your copy, all you need to do is install the KB3035583 update for Windows.

    Go to 'Control Panel.' Open 'Windows Update.' Click 'Show all available updates.'

      Sorry about the delay in replying ive checked all updates in control panel it says all uptodates up to date but no widows icon showing in the system tray.
      I typed the number in the search box finds nothing but gives me the option to go to the windows site doesn't give me the option to download just tells me where to look in the system tray.
