    CD ROM drive in Lubuntu

    On a laptop (Acer aspire 1350) CD rom drive does not open when I press the button. Is that a hardware problem or maybe in Linux you have a command to open CD ROM drive? Thank you

      Try unmounting the drive and than run the eject command.
