    Playing a dvd
    « on: February 02, 2016, 03:38:20 AM »
How to play a dvd in Windows 8.1?

Steps I have tried so far:-

    1.  COMPUTER > OPEN

    2.  Right click on dvd icon

    3.  Page opens asking me to insert files on the disk !

I already have files on the disc.  What I want to know is how to play the disc?

P.S.  I use Firefox and a laptop computer.

    Thanks for any help.

With the CD in just double clik the CD icon in My Computer...and it should open up automatically with PhotoShop.

Thanks, Patio,  but I ma afraid your solution did not work.  Clicking on "Show pictures only" did not yield any result whatever.

        Regards.

What did you use to create the notes; Word, Notepad etc? Did you try to double-click the drive? It should open to reveal the files.

Thanks, Patio.  The dvd I was using turned out to be empty, but another disc with only pictures on it opened well.

Sorry for this late reply, but I tend to be forgetful sometimes, being  an old-age pensioner.
