/Booting from USB recovery drive

Will my computer boot from my usb recovery drive if cd is first on booting order. If I change the order in Bios will it effect how my computer boots each time I use it?

Doesnt matter If CD is before USB Boot, as long as HDD is very last option on boot order. This way if CD/DVD is not satisfied by bootable media, it can look for USB bootable media and then boot or move on to PXE Boot and when that is not satisfied with a PXE service on the Lan, it then boots from HDD or SSD.

that10pin, it does help a lot if you include some specs about your computer  next time you post. Some models differ from others, especially if it is an older PC.

Today I downloaded and installed Windows 10 upgrade update and was able to create a usb recovery drive. Go figure,
