long time for Windows 10 to boot
    « on: May 09, 2016, 05:56:52 AM »
    Greetings...
I have bought recently Samsung evo 850 120GB SSD for my laptop (Dell Vostro 3450),
and cloned the operating system partition to the SSD using software by the name "aomei backupper",
then i swapped the HDD with the SSD, and swapped the DVD with the HDD, and started the computer,
unfortunately when i start the laptop, the laptop start normally till it reaches to the Windows 10 (64bit) start screen (with the blue logo and dots circling around),
suddenly the screen goes black, but the laptop still running for 3~5 min, after that the screen returns and every thing works fine.
the same issue occur when i turn off the laptop,
I suspect that this issue occur because of the two GPUs AMD Radeon & HD Graphics 3000.
What can i do so solve this?!
P.S. my laptop drivers are up to date, furthermore, friend of mine did exactly the same with (DELL Inspiron N5110 with NVIDIA GeForce GT 525m GPU) and his laptop works fine.

Remove the HDD & see what happens.

Remove the HDD & see what happens.

That's certainly not gonna tell him what his boot time is...

If you have lots of money, you can by basic parts and see if that fixes the issue. Also, cloning the partition and OS from any source does not guarantee genuine copies of the OS as it may not completely give you your files, incorrectly copy your files, or give you a bootleg that doesn't boot. Also, as a previous comment said, removing the HDD may solve the problem as it could be corrupted, damaged, improperly configured / placed, and so on. also, from what your saying, it seems like you get to the login screen, it just goes blank. You might want to run an antivirus / registry / disk cleaner program(s) to see if your computer has bad files. Also, if you suspect the problem is the two GPU's and graphics card(s). Then you might want to take them out to see if your computer runs with the bare bones.
