    HDMI Not Working
    « on: December 02, 2016, 05:52:42 AM »
For a long time I have had my desk top pc connected to my tv via HDMI cable.
I had to reinstall windows and since then HDMI is not working.
I have tried a few things but my pc refuses to detect another monitor.
Some of the options I had there before don't seem to be there now.
I am running windows 8.1 64 BIT on a desktop computer - intel core i7 [email protected] GHz, 8.00GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 5450

Sounds like you may have overlooked re-installing all drivers...

I have tried re-installing all drivers.
For some I can't find what drivers I need.

If it's a desktop all your drivers are at the MBoard manuf. site...
Install chipset drivers 1st...then re-boot and install all others.

If you have a vid card get those drivers from the card manuf. site...
