Script debugging

I am using Windows 7, and Mozilla Firefox 50.1.0

My system keeps crashing, not once in a day, but 7 or 8 times at least - and is very slow.    I get the message to debug the script - what could be causing this?

Have you run malwarebytes to make sure system is clean from malware?

I'd also check and run updates to Java Script and Adobe Flash.

Knowing the exact message would help to see what is exactly going wrong. Is the website that this happens at able to be shared here or confidential?

I ran Malwarebytes a few days ago, but will do it again.

Will send exact message when it happens again.

Nothing is confidential on here - I have to say it happens a lot in Angry Birds (through facebook) - will get back to you asap

Adobe updated successfully, bit of a hiccup with Java Update 101 - it had an error message 1618, I did as instructed, and it says it downloaded successfully.   We shall see.

Malwarebytes has just finished.   I actually did have a trojan (Trojan.TechSupportScam)   hmmmmm.   It has now been removed, but I will do another scan.

While I am here, can you tell me what all these files means in Local Disk  (C:) - should they be hidden, have I not turned something off - can I delete them - what are they?

 copied the file the Trojan was in - not sure if it's any help (as it is removed)

2nd Malwarebyte scan is clean.

Do you see this with only one website open in Firefox?  Or, do you usually encounter it when you have multiple websites open?

Usually with several websites open, but surely having a few open at the same time wouldn't cause it - everyone has more than a couple open at the same time.

I think it's occured on Google chrome, tho I don't use that site much.

Google's Chrome is a web browser, not a website.  To reiterate, Google.com is a website; Chrome is a web browser, like Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.

Can tell us what websites you had open when one of these "message to debug the script" occurs?

Ooops - my apologies.

It happens frequently on Angry Birds (through facebook) - other programs I usually have open at the same time are the local news, facebook, and hotmail (outlook.com)

Close your browser and re-open it.  If you have several websites open but do not play the facebook version of Angry Birds, do you get the error message?

I've been using Google Chrome since the previous last msg from you - so far so good.    I didn't know you could play Angry birds separate to Face Book - will try it.
