2000 VS XP
« on: December 05, 2005, 10:15:40 PM »
I have Windows XP Pro installed on my Dell Latitude L400 Laptop. XP seems to run kinda slow and freezes sometimes. I was wondering if Installing Windows 2000 would be better for the laptop.

Specs:
700 mhz
128 MB Ram
20 GB HD

Andrew Grant......128 mb of ram is the minimum for xp to run ...... 256 would be better or if thats not an option then win 2K would be the way to go.
With 128 mb , XP would respond slowly .........

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.

In anyway. Without the reason of RAM or whatever else, W2k is better.

      Easy and reliable to use.
