    Channel Estimation
    « on: May 10, 2017, 11:27:44 AM »
    Hi Techies,
I will like to first appreciate dudes whose comments and topics had helped me in time past.

So there is this project I'm working on and it has to do with MIMO channel estimation in OFDM systems. I understand the basic concept but got stuck trying to simulate using MATLAB.

Question: How do we generate values for our input parameters? Parameters such as
    i) No of OFDM symbol used
    ii) Cyclic prefix length
    (iii) Pilot no and frequency...

Are they standards? Any explanation will be appreciated.
    Thanks!

Can you give a real-world example of why this matters?

MIMO is often traced back to 1970s research papers concerning multi-channel digital transmission systems and interference (crosstalk).

MATLAB is an interactive program for numerical computation and data visualization; it is used extensively by control engineers for analysis and design.
