Unclickable icon wont go away

This started today, the only way I can make it not show is to change the resolution, but as soon as I switch it back to 4k it returns. Any help or suggestions is appreciated. The icon appears to be some sort of refresh symbol. It's in the bottom right hand corner and won't show up in a screenshot.

It does help when you give more details about the Operating system and the hardware.

Do you have a backup  and restore method?  That would be one way to isolate when the problem began.

I'm on windows 10 64 bit. And no, I have no backup and restore method. I've added a file showing the icon

I am searching reverse image... no match found.

Yes, that's it. It will temporarily disappear when I restart my PC, but show up again within a couple seconds of logging on.

What programs have you recently added?
Do you use a virus scanner for unwanted programs?

I can't think of any programs that would've caused this. Though I have noticed something unusual, when going to my pc, there is a new folder under Users containing two files. One being called HRUPPROG.EXIT and the other HRUPPROG
I don't know what this is or why it would've created another folder under my Users. The only type of security I have is Windows Defender, and it hasn't detected anything.

Right clik the icon and select Properties...should yeild some clues...

BTW the folder you mentioned confirms you are infected...Post in the Malware section....
