    xp pro SP3 sound drivers
    « on: July 05, 2017, 03:49:46 AM »
    hi guys,
long story regarding why I am still using XP, but I recently done a fresh install, and my memory keeps telling me that this particular install had Soundmax sound drivers when used previously, but now it defaults to realtek sound drivers.
also have noticed that there is no Legacy sound drivers installed. I am running a program that decodes Pagers Messages from out Fire Service and on the same computer I decypher Selcall tones for the same, but have noticed since installing this version of XP the sound input is ridiculous, according to two programs (Slimdrivers and Advanced Sysytemcare driver booster) all the drivers are the latest..
any suggestions on Legacy versus Realtek and or soundmax

Install the drivers for the sound device that is on the system from the manufacturer's website.
